Embracing the journey within
A void it may seem like,
but it's not, my dear, I promise.
Your thoughts have filled your soul,
ironically, with this strange emptiness.
How I cherish being near you,
your soothing aura, your innocent grace,
The twinkle in your eyes, they gleam
as you wander through the grassy space.
I fear to witness you
consumed by this world so vile,
Losing your naive heart
as they'd have you, all the while.
Yet, you may someday join them,
As I watch, not far away,
The hypocrites who mock you,
self-righteous in their sway.
But I have faith, young one,
that you'll rise above the fray,
These nuances shall fade with time,
and you'll find your own way.
In knowledge, you'll be complete,
and in humor, oh so sweet,
You shall reclaim your splendor,
and your own path you shall meet.
